The ST is configured with two pickup models:

Tesla VR-1 Single Coil Pickup x2

The VR-1 is a homage to the 1950s Vintage single coil pickup.
VR-1 pickups are carefully made with heavy Formvar copper wire, Alnico 5 staggered pole piece magnets, fiber bobbins and vintage style cloth covered wire. The coils are wax potted for stabilization to ensure the complete, clean reproduction of sound.
The Middle position pickup has been reverse wound for noise canceling at the second through the fourth position.

Tesla VR-NITRO Humbucker Pickup x1

The Tesla VR-Nitro Bridge pickup boasts a high-output design, making it ideal for players who crave aggressive and dynamic tones. Its Alnico magnet construction provides a focused and punchy response, ensuring that every note you play cuts through the mix with clarity and precision. The VR-NITRO offers the player the most even tonal possibilities with a blistering output and an outstanding punch in the mid-range.
