The Boss ME-80 Multi-Effects Guitar Processor clubs all the essential guitar pedals in one single unit. Whether you want to add distortion, compression or delay effects, just simply turn the correct knob and start hitting the pedal. The ME-80 features Boss MDP technology that enhances the distortion and compression in the sound. There are eight footswitches and an expression pedal for controlling different functions of the multi-effects processor. You can edit your work in the Boss Tone Studio software.

The ME-80 multi-effects processor features a guitar preamp built from advanced COSM technology. It is a direct decedent of Boss legendary GT-100 processor. Boss has incorporated its MDP (Multi-Dimensional Processing) Technology in this multi-effects pedal. With MDP, your distortion and compression effects will surely raise the level of excitement in the audience. You can record a favourite patch with the built-in phrase loop function in the delay section.

Boss Tone Studio and USB Interface

The Boss ME-80 Multi-Effects Processor grants the ability to edit and enhance your recorded music on your computer or laptop. You can create a new music patch with the preloaded virtual instruments in the software. Also, there are music presets for spicing up your created music patches. A reliable connection between your computer and the multi-effects pedal is maintained through USB connectivity. The USB connectivity allows you to record songs directly on to the computer system. You are only required to plug in the USB male cord in ME-80s USB interface and start recording.

Jump Straight Into Action

In contrast to other complex effects pedals, the ME-80 Multi-effect Processor features an easy-to-understand control panel. Music effects such as delay, modulation, compression, and others are organised in their dedicated groups. There are seven effects categories with their own set of knobs to control them. You can assign a special effect for the expression pedal via the knob in pedal FX category. The ME-80 features two operating modes, manual and memory. The manual mode is intended for those guitarists who love the old-school feel of stompboxes. As for the memory mode, it can be used for switching between different patch (group of controls) setups.
