While holding true to the Maple/Walnut hybrid shell formula that made Saturn a unique and respected pro-level kit, the new look and features of the Saturn IV mark a significant departure from the Saturn of old. This next evolution of the Saturn line features the SONIClear tom suspension, SONIClear floor tom legs, low-contact bass drum claws, Memory Mark bass drum spurs, a new badge and lug casing, an optional free-floating bass drum mount, and some really striking new finishes.
The Saturn MH Exotic Series features the same Maple and Walnut Hybrid shells, but with 7-ply snares and toms, and 9-ply bass drums, with the outer ply of exotic wood veneer. Mapex 7-ply (6.15mm) snares and toms, and 9-ply (8.55mm) bass drums constructed of North American Maple and Walnut Hybrid shells and exotic wood. Five new lacquer finish options available in six configurations or by component. Black hardware is standard.
